Finnish Air Force: Training jet crashes and pilots escape safely
OSLO, Finland (Reuters) – The Finnish Air Force announced on Monday that one of their Hawk jets had crash-landed in southern Finland. It added that both crew had ejected and were unharmed.
The Finnish Air Force said on its website that the Hawk, produced by Britain’s BAE Systems is a one-engine, two-seat jet for training. The air force tweeted the two crewmembers had been taken to hospital for medical examinations.
