Firefighters investigate after a school bus in Toronto is thrown into a 10-foot-deep sinkhole.

Toronto Fire Services is investigating after an underground sinkhole was discovered under a school bus parked in Toronto.

Officials say that the sinkhole—roughly 10-feet wide and 4-feet deep—was found underneath a parked bus in the Beaches on Monday afternoon.

After 4:30 p.m., firefighters were summoned to Queen Street East or Balsam Avenue.

The school bus was waiting outside a school on the Beaches to collect students and take them home.

Officials state that there were no children aboard the bus when it suddenly collapsed into the road.
