Murray State wins 68-60 over Austin Peay thanks to Anderson
MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — Quincy Anderson came off the bench to score 16 points, sparking Murray State to a 68-60 victory over Austin Peay on Friday night.
Anderson made 5 of 9 shots, with two 3-pointers to help the Racers (7-4). Kenny White Jr. and DJ Burns each scored 15 points. Burns took 7 of his 10 shots and got eight rebounds. White, on the other hand, took 6 of his 9 shots with six boards. Jacobi Wood added seven points to his score with eight assists.
Elijah Hutchins–Everett was the Governors’ (6-6) leader with 17 points, 11 rebounds. Sean Durugordon scored 14 points. Carlos Paez added 13 points, seven boards, and four steals.
Austin Peay led 29-27 at halftime.
