Aung La N Sang chokes Gilberto Galvao during the first round TKO

Ex-two-division champion Aung La N Sang Attended the raucous crowd ONE Fight Night 6 Just what they needed to see.

Myanmar’s N Sang (29-13) needed 89 seconds to get the job done against Gilberto Galvao, much to the delight of the crowd, which showered “The Burmese Python” with the loudest cheers of the evening.

The event was held at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand and aired on Amazon Prime Video.

It didn’t take much for N Sang to get the close the show. Galvao (30-0-1) was aggressive at first, using wide hooks and a lot of force. But N Sang made a clever uppercut to send Galvao to the ground. N Sang allowed Galvao back to his feet and the fight quickly moved to a clinch at the fence. Galvao was again dropped to the mat by N Sang, who successfully defended his takedown attempt.

N Sang was getting close to the end, with heavy punches from him until referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.

N Sang achieves back-to-back first round stoppages and his 20th career total. N Sang beat Yushin OKami in round one at ONE Championship 163 last November.

N Sang thanked Kill Cliff FC and sent a message to Chatri Sityodtong, CEO of ONE Championship, indicating that he was ready to fight again as soon possible.

“I’m ONE Championship’s hitman,” N Sang said. “A championship fight would be good too. Let’s go.”
