The Nets are star forward Kevin Durant are having “ongoing conversations” about the direction of the franchise, but Brooklyn has told interested teams that they’re “not planning to trade” Durant ahead of Thursday’s deadline, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT reported Durant was reported earlier this week by the Phoenix Suns that they are open to pursuing him, should he become available. ESPN reports that Durant has not been offered to the Nets to move to Phoenix or any other place.

Durant hasn’t played since Jan. 8 against the Miami Heat due to an MCL sprain.

Reporting by SNY’s Ian Begley, members of the Nets met Monday with the Toronto Raptors to discuss potential trades.

Per Begley: The Nets and Raptors talked about the possibility of a Fred VanVleet Trade before the Kyrie Irving The Dallas Mavericks signed an official agreement.

According to TNT’s Chris HaynesIrving’s camp refused to negotiate a possible contract extension with the Nets, despite being presented with an offer tied to his championship win by the team.

It’s said that even if the Nets offered a full max contract, Irving won’t take it, per Haynes.

Another team has emerged as a potential suitor for Kyrie Irving.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns join the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks as the interested parties in trading for the All-Star guard.
