Brown employed as common supervisor of Houston Astros

HOUSTON (AP) — Dana Brown was employed Thursday as the final supervisor of the Houston Astros.

Brown replaces James Click on, who was not given a brand new contract and parted methods with the Astros simply days after they gained the World Collection.

Brown spent the final 4 seasons because the vice chairman of scouting for the Atlanta Braves.

“We’re excited to have Dana be a part of our group,” Astros’ proprietor Jim Crane stated. “He brings championship caliber expertise to our group and is the best match for us to proceed to ship a profitable franchise on and off the sector.”

Brown labored for the Blue Jays from 2010-18 as a particular assistant to the final supervisor. From 2001-09 he labored as director of scouting for the Nationals/Expos. He started his profession with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the place he spent eight years as their space scouting supervisor and East coast cross checker.
