Boston joined the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings and 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens to become the third league team to record 130 points per campaign. They’re just one point short of matching the record for most seasons with 130 points (the 1976-77 Canadiens had 132 points). To become the third team to achieve this feat, the Bruins also won their 30th road game of the season.

Pastrnak joins Connor McDavid They were the only two NHL players to score 60 goals in this season’s season. The NHL has had only nine 60-goal scorers in its history and hasn’t seen that rare feat since 1995-95.

Charlie Coyle scored 47 seconds in the contest to get Boston going. Pavel Zacha then raked one top shelf late in the third period to keep the Bruins ahead. Jeremy Swayman recorded 34 saves for his seventh consecutive win and 22nd of this season.

The Flyers were led by Joel Farabee, Wade Allison and Owen Tippett. Felix Sandstrom stopped 29 shots from the Philadelphia net.

The record was tied by the Bruins with their 62nd victory on Saturday. They beat the New Jersey Devils, 2-1. This is the same mark as the 2015-96 Red Wings or the 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning.
