Caleb Huntley is out of season due to an Achilles injury

One of the Falcons bright spots has been sidelined by a season-ending injury.

Arthur Smith, the head coach, stated to reporters during Monday’s press conference that running is back Caleb Huntley Is out for the season due to an Achilles injury.

Smith noted that he’s not sure of the full extent of the injury and that he hates it for Huntley.

“I don’t know how the hell it happened,” Smith said, via Tory McElhaney of the team’s website.

Huntley, who was an undrafted player from Ball State, joined the Falcons last year. He saw his first in-season play in 2022. He ran for 366 yards and one touchdown on 76 carries.
