Colts’ HC candidate Ben Johnson to remain with Lions

The Indianapolis Colts interviewed Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for the vacant job of head coach. However, he informed team members that he won’t be leaving his current position.

Johnson was a big name in the race for head coach, but it seems he wants to keep doing what the Lions did under Dan Campbell.

The Colts are still in the process of finding a head coach. They’ve interviewed seven candidates, including Johnson, and have four more interviews requested from coaches currently in the playoffs.

Johnson is likely to be a big name again next season, but the hope is the Colts won’t be searching for another head coach at that time.
