Colts sign LB Cameron McGrone from Patriots practice squad

The Indianapolis Colts signed linebacker Cameron McGrone to the active roster from the New England Patriots’ practice squad, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network on Tuesday.

McGrone, 22 years old, was a fifth round pick by the Patriots from the 2021 NFL Draft out of Michigan. He spent his rookie year on the injured reserve, and the entire 2022 on the Patriots practice team.

McGrone is a native Indianaer who appeared in 16 Michigan Career Games. McGrone had 11.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 tackles. He also recorded 91 total tackles (52 solo). He measured 6-foot-1 and weighed 234 pounds, with 32-inch arms.
