Thornhill And Counterparts To Support Architects On The 2023 Australian Tour
Only weeks until the start of their 2023 Australian tour, English metalcore outfit Architects The East Sussex group has announced their support acts for their forthcoming dates. The tour, which includes four dates, will see the East Sussex Group headline shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. It will conclude on 17 February.
Contemporaries will accompany them on this tour. Counterparts Thornhill. Canada’s counterparts have been on the scene for more than 15 years now, with their seventh album, A Eulogy for the Still HereThis was their first local appearance since last year. These will be their first shows in the area since 2019.
Architects – ‘a new moral low ground’
Meanwhile, Melbourne’s Thornhill will open proceedings, having last embarked on a national tour in October. The group recently released a full length album. Heroine last June. It was their second album and gave them their greatest success, reaching #3 on ARIA charts.
Architects’ own tour will be their first trek to Australia since a one-off appearance in the country for the 2020 Unified Gathering, having completed a full-length of dates just months earlier. The band’s tenth album, the classic symptoms of a broken spiritTheir fourth consecutive record, titled “The Fourth of October”, reached the Australian top ten.
