Full line-up of ‘Dancing On Ice’ 2023 confirmed
Dancing On Ice The rink will be welcoming 11 celebrities and their pro-skating partners for the 2023 series.
ITV’s skating show will be back on screens Sunday, January 15th. However, there was a lot of training required before the live broadcast. The cast were announced in November.

This will be the smallest cast for years with only 11 couples participating. However, as the past years have demonstrated, there could be additional stars available to replace anyone who is injured.

Siva Kaneswaran
Skating partner: Klabera Komini
The final celebrity to be announced for the 2023 cast is The Wanted, who revealed he would be appearing on Good Morning Britain.
He said: “I’m very excited. I’m trying to be positive and not be in a fearful mindset! I’m looking forward to meeting all the cast. I want to learn how to skate and make my family proud of me and put on a show for everyone to see and hopefully not make a fool of myself!”
Michelle Heaton
Skating partner: Łukasz Różycki
Lorraine was a guest of the Liberty X singer who revealed that she would be participating.
Heaton, who is now sober for 18 months, admitted that she has been reluctant to engage in previous years due to the effects of her alcoholism.
She said, “I have always wanted to do this and I’ve always been a part of the mix. But, I knew that my body would be the way it was. I’m so glad that I can now accomplish it when my body is stronger.”
She spoke about how her children found out she was participating in Dancing On Ice. Faith said that Faith approached her and said, “Faith came to me and said, “I’m so proud, Mummy.” It’s amazing that she’s proud to see me grow from the person I was into the person I am today.
Carley Stenson
Mark Hanretty is a skating partner
Hollyoaks actress and West End actor, she has now joined the cast.
Stenson stated, “I’m so excited to learn how dance…on ice!” I’m terrified but can’t wait – I just want to make the most of this whole experience.”
Darren Harriott
Tippy Packard, a skating partner
Comedian Darren Harriott confirmed that he would be joining Trisha Goddard’s cast on TalkTV.
He said: “I’ve got giant feet, I don’t skate and I can’t dance! My family has already made bets – they’re making bets that I’ll fall on the first episode!”
Joey Essex
Skating partner: Vanessa Bauer
This Morning announced the Towie star for the cast. He admitted that he was eager to be a part of the cast for many years and was taking training very seriously.

Partner in skating: Colin Grafton
RuPaul’s Drag Race winner The Vivienne has joined the cast of the 2023 series as the show’s first ever drag artist contestant, saying: “I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be competing in Dancing On Ice in 2023! This is truly a dream come true, and I cannot wait to get started training on the ice.
“It is an honor to be the first UK drag artist to compete in a reality show. I think it’s a big step forward for queer representation on TV.”
Mollie Gallagher
Sylvain Longchambon is a skating partner
Mollie Gallagher, a Coronation Street star, will be following many of her cobbles stars onto the ice. The soap has provided many skating stars in the past.
Gallagher, who plays Nina Lucas, was revealed on Lorraine and said: “I’m really excited. I’ve not really felt nervous yet, strangely. But being here today, I am now feeling it a little bit!”
Talking about getting advice from her Coronation Street co-stars, she added: “I’ll be getting all the tips I can because I’m going to need it!”
Nile Wilson
Olivia Smart is a skating partner
Nile Wilson, Olympic gymnast announced that he was joining the YouTube cast.
Wilson is obviously used to performing some acrobatic moves and hinted that he would be going for it on the ice, saying: “I’m going to be on ITV’s Dancing on Ice! This is really cool. I’ve never ice skated before, but I’m so excited to have the chance. I’m so excited to get into that routine and to feel like an athlete again.
“My biggest goal on the show is to do something that no-one has ever done before!”
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
Skating partner: Brendyn Hatfield
Love Island winner, who is now a member of the Dancing On Ice cast following in the footsteps many Islanders before she.
She appeared in a pre-recorded video for Good Morning Britain, where she said: “I’m so excited for the team, I can’t wait to get on the ice and skate. Keep watching and we’ll see you on the ice!
Cülcüloğlu recently made a travel show with her Love Island partner Davide Sanclimenti, where they travelled to Turkey and Italy to show off their hometowns in Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings.
John Fashanu
Skating partner: Alexandra Schauman
John Fashanu was chosen as the second celebrity joining Dancing On Ice 2023.
After his playing days, the 60-year-old former footballer became a TV presenter. He hosted Gladiators, Deal Or No Deal Nigeria and came second in the second series. I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Patsy, ex-EastEnders actor, was the first person announced For the 2023 cast.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby unveiled the DJ and wellness guru who now lives in America via video link.
As Schofield pointed out she’d turned down the show before, she said: “Yes because I’ve been absolutely terrified before, but my pact that I made to myself when I was 50 was that I’ve got to challenge myself for the next couple of years and get out of my comfort zone because I don’t want to get stuck in this thing of ‘argh, I’m 50, it’s such a weird age’.”
Willoughby asked Willoughby about Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill’s love of the show. They both judge the show and collaborate with the contestants.
Talking about their Olympic gold-winning routine Bolero, Palmer replied: “I don’t even know what year it was when they did their big dance – was it like a tango or something like that they did?”
Dancing on Ice will return to ITV1 on Sunday, January 15th at 6.30pm
