Dane Jackson is listed as day to-day

Since Wild-Card Sunday, injury updates for Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson were positive.

After the Bills’ 34-31 win over the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott indicated that had he been needed, Jackson could’ve returned to the game.

On Monday, McDermott spoke via video conference and provided the latest update on Jackson’s status relating to a knee injury he sustained against the Dolphins.

Jackson is officially considered day-today.

“We’ll see where it goes this week,” McDermott said.

Jackson was hurt with 2:20 left in the first period. He played 27 snaps.

Kaiir Elam was able to spend more time on the field after he left. He returned the trust he received from his team by scoring a huge interception in the third quarter.

The Bills took the lead in their offensive drive after Elam intercepted Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thomson. They refused to give up.

However, Jackson and Elam will both be on the field against Cincinnati Bengals. This is a crucial game for the Bills. Buffalo will need as much depth as possible because the Bengals have an extremely deep receiver base.
