Olivia DeJonge, Elvis Actress, Pays Tribute To Lisa Marie Presley: “Forever Indebted to Her”

Olivia DeJonge Is honoring Lisa Marie Presley.
After Elvis Star Austin Butler Director Baz Luhrmann We paid tribute to the only child of the King of Rock n Roll, after she passed away death this week, fellow film star DeJonge, 24 — who played Priscilla Presley in the biopic — also shared some words on social media.
She wrote, “Shattered” on her Instagram Story. “Privileged that I felt her powerful presence. For the kindness and love she showed to me and my entire Elvis family, I will be forever grateful.”
DeJonge also added: “All my love to Priscilla Riley Harper and Finley,” referring to Lisa Marie’s surviving family members.

DeJonge’s tribute comes only days after Priscilla, 77 confirmed her daughter’s passing to PEOPLE with a statement Thursday night. She was 54.
“It is with a heavy soul that I must share that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has died,” stated Priscilla. “She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman that I have ever known.”
She said, “We request privacy as we deal with this deep loss.” We appreciate your love and prayers. There will be no more comment at this time.”

Lisa Marie made previously her final public appearance Tuesday, the 80th Golden Globe Awards. Butler, 31 and Lisa Marie were excited to meet each other at the awards show. She held onto Butler’s arm as he walked slowly, and was attentive to her.
At the Globes, Butler was awarded best actor in a drama. Lisa Marie was there to cheer him on. Butler thanked Presleys for “opening your hearts, memories, and your home to me” in his acceptance speech.
He continued, “Lisa Marie Priscilla,” and he said, “I love your forever.”

Later in the week Butler offered his tribute to Lisa Marie in a PEOPLE statement. He said that his heart was broken for Lisa Marie’s mother and children after the “tragic and unexpected” loss of Lisa Marie.
“I am forever grateful for the time that I had to be close to her bright light, and will always cherish the quiet times we shared,” he said. “Her warmth and genuine love will always be remembered,” he said.

Luhrmann also mentioned Lisa Marie’s warmth when he shared a tribute to her via social media. “Over the last one year, the entire Elvis Movie family and me have felt the privilege Lisa Marie’s kind embrace,” the director of 60 wrote. “Her sudden, shocking loss has devastated All over the world. I know that her fans around the world join me in sending prayers of support and love to her mother, Priscilla and her amazing daughters Riley, Finley, and Harper.
“Lisa Marie. Your warmth, your smile and your love will be missed,” he said.

“Lisa had one of the most infectious laughs I have ever seen.” She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken,” the actor wrote. “I find comfort in knowing that she is reunited to her son Benjamin.”
