Few experts expect Rams to upset Seahawks

Los Angeles Rams will have a lot to do this week when they face a determined Seattle Seahawks team that needs a win. Many of the Rams’ starters are still out, including Nick Scott.

Although the Seahawks have been a bit rusty, it is not the same extent as the Rams. Seattle does have its starting quarterback, which is a big plus, unlike the Rams with their fourth-string quarterback. Sean McVay’s team won’t make excuses, but this is a tough matchup on the road.

Not many experts like the Rams’ chances against the Seahawks this weekend. According to NFL Pick WatchOnly 16% of experts believe Los Angeles will win the game. However, more than half of experts expect it will be at least a close game. 52% of those who submitted picks are backing the Rams to cover that 5.5-point spread.

The Rams have only covered the spread six times in their 16 games this season, though the Seahawks aren’t much better at 7-9 ATS.

If the Rams can pull off the upset, they’ll eliminate the Seahawks from playoff contention, which would thrill the Lions and Packers as they battle for their postseason lives.
