Jinny, an ex-NXT UK star, has announced her retirement citing an injury that she suffered in the past.

Jinny announced in a Saturday tweet that she was stepping down from wrestling after being absent for some time due to an undisclosed condition. In the tweet, she thanked fans for the memories, and said that she is excited about what’s to come in the future.

Although still with WWE and under contract at NXT UK, Jinny hadn’t been inside of the ring for some time now, with her last matchg coming in November 2021, a win against fellow NXT UK star Amale. Throughout her career in the wrestling world, Jinny held a litany of championships, including the PROGRESS Women’s Championship, and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
