The December 2023 general election could be moved to December 2023

LIMA (Reuters – Peru’s new president Dina Boluarte stated Wednesday that general elections could be moved to December 2023.

Boluarte was sworn into office last Wednesday, after ex-President Pedro Castillo attempted to dissolve Congress. He was then removed from office by legislators and arrested shortly afterwards.
