Gucci Removes All Rabbit Felt Merchandise Following Fur-Free Dedication Controversy

Gucci has confirmed that it will be pulling all merchandise containing rabbit felt, after critics identified that the fabric did not really feel in keeping with the model’s fur-free dedication.

Satirically, the merchandise in query featured in Gucci’s recent Lunar New Year collection, celebrating the “12 months of the Rabbit,” which included a ‘100% rabbit felt’ hat. The gathering was promoted by adverts that includes bunnies in vibrant settings, which was later known as out as being “in poor style” by social media customers and advocates.
