Zachary Levi is mourning the lack of his father, Darrell Pugh.

On Instagram Sunday, the Shazam! actor, 42, confirmed the loss of life of his beloved “Papa D.”

“Lots of you’ve got been asking for an replace on my dad, Darrell,” Levi wrote. “Although he fought valiantly till the top, my pop handed away peacefully a couple of days in the past, surrounded by family and friends.”

He continued, “Watching anybody slowly die of most cancers is likely one of the worst experiences I can attest to. However realizing that he is now not trapped in his decaying physique, and now singing karaoke in heaven provides me a lot peace and pleasure. And, realizing what number of of you have been constantly sending him love, and ideas, and prayers provides me much more religion in humanity. Know that he felt and appreciated all of it, as did our entire household.”

Earlier this month, the Chuck alum revealed to followers that his 76-year-old father was preventing thyroid most cancers, and requested for prayers on the time.

“Sittin in my dad’s hospital room with him. He is not doin so sizzling proper now,” Levi wrote on Twitter, in response to a consumer who requested him what he was as much as. “The thyroid most cancers simply will not stop, and is slowly overtaking his trachea.”
