This is why Raiders fans should feel optimistic about the 2023 season

The 2022 season for the Raiders certainly didn’t live up to the hype. They started the season slowly and lost the final three games. This season felt like a waste for a team with hopes of reaching the playoffs.

However, that doesn’t mean that the Raiders can’t bounce back in 2023. They have some great players on the roster, and they showed this season that they are capable of hanging with any team in this league.

In a recent article, Pro Football FocusThey gave a reason every team other than the playoffs should be excited for the 2023 season. For the Raiders, it’s due to their two superstars; Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby.

This is a small excerpt of the information that the site has to say about Adams going into next year.

“Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby are among the best players at their respective positions and are true difference makers that any NFL team would be more than happy to call its own.

Adams is 30 years old and has not slowed down. Adams posted a 90.5 receiving score (tied for 2nd among wide receivers), which was backed by 14 touchdowns, 1,516 yard (third), 2.45 yards/route run (sixth), 100 receptions (seventh).

Whoever starts at quarterback next season for the Raiders will be aided significantly by one of the best receivers in the game.”

If Adams and Crosby continue to play at an elite level, they’ll have a chance in every game. With Chandler Jones, Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, and Hunter Renfrow all fully healthy, this talented team has many offensive weapons.

It’s hard to be too optimistic about this team given how the season went. They have a chance to move forward if they can resolve their quarterback issue.
