Russell Westbrook is moving out of Los Angeles. His next destination isn’t yet clear. According to reports, Westbrook was sent Wednesday by the Lakers to Utah Jazz under a three team deal. It is likely that the Jazz will buy his contract. Westbrook would have many suitors on the buyout marketplace if that is the case.

In the deal, the Lakers will also acquire D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt from Minnesota Timberwolves. Russell Westbrook will be sent out to Utah along with Juan Toscano–Anderson, Damian Jones, and a slightly protected 2027 Lakers first round pick. Kyrie Irving traded from Dallas Mavericks

Kyrie Irving got the trade he requested last Monday when the Brooklyn Nets traded him to Dallas. The Mavericks traded Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney Smith, a first-round draft pick in 2029, and second-round picks 2027 and 2029, to the Nets. They also sent Markieff Morse to the Mavericks.
