Kathie Lee Gifford’s Daughter Cassidy is Expecting Her First Child with Husband Ben Wierda

Cassidy Gifford Ben Wierda and his wife are expecting their first child!

“Our little peanut arriving June 2023🙏 Jeremiah 1:5,” Cassidy, 29, explained in the caption.
In a heartwarming announcement, she said that there was “a lot more to be praising Jesus” for Christmas.

The sweethearts became childhood friends and a year later, their love was unbreakable. They had only known each other for decades.

“We actually met when Ben, then 13, and I was 10, respectively.” Our moms met via a mutual friend in Florida Keys. We would always travel to Florida for holidays. Their children were the same age as mine and my brother. “You don’t always get along your family friends’ children, but we got along well,” Cassidy told PEOPLE at the time.
Although Cassidy stated that she and Wierda were “always best friends”, it wasn’t until 2015 that Cassidy realized the depth of their relationship.

It was quick. The mother-to-be stated that it took seven months for us to get together after dating. I know this sounds fast, but we were already so familiar with each other and had lived so many lives together. It was easy for us to start dating once we had started. We were completely in it.
