It was the episode when Tom Berenger proposes Kirstie to him, and she keeps saying no despite her desire to say yes. Kirstie was brilliant in this episode. Her ability as a woman on edge of a nervous breakdown was both charming and moving. I was astonished at her ability to portray a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown 30 years ago. She still makes me laugh today. When I got off the plane I heard Kirstie had passed away. It is so hard to believe that she has passed away. I am grateful for the many times she made my laugh. I send my love and support to her children. Their mother was a woman of great heart, as they know. She will be missed by me.”
