Lisa Marie Presley said that Father Elvis would ‘Be Proud’ to be a Film Starring Austin Butler

Lisa Marie Presley “Said her father Elvis Presley would have been “proud to be” the film star Austin Butler Only days before her tragic death on Thursday Age 54
Lisa Marie, who spoke at the Golden Globes preparty on Elvis’ actual birth date, Jan. 8, stated that she was overwhelmed by the “overwhelming” nature of the event. Elvis Film, for the Butler won a Golden Globe for Best Actor (Drama).
Lisa Marie said “I just wanted to thank you for coming,” alongside Butler, Riley Keogh, and Baz Luhmann, the film’s director.
Lisa Marie stated, “I am overwhelmed by this film’s effect and what Baz and Austin have done.” “I am so proud. My father would be proud. So, I want to thank you all for being here and I — I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude, so thank you.”

Presley was reborn Thursday morning rushed to the hospital for a possible cardiac arrest. PEOPLE was informed by a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that paramedics arrived at the Calabasas block of Normandy Drive in Calabasas to help a woman in her 50s who wasn’t breathing. The paramedics started CPR when they arrived and once the patient was breathing, transferred her to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
PEOPLE received confirmation from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, that the unit had been dispatched to the location for a cardiac arrest call. Lisa Marie passed away at the hospital hours later.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 1, 1968, nine months after Elvis’s and Priscilla’s wedding. Lisa Marie was briefly raised in the area Before moving to Los Angeles, at age 4, she lived with her mother after her divorce in 1973.
