Michigan football defender chooses transfer portal destination

The lure of Coach Prime’s is strong, so much so that a former Michigan football edge rusher has made his way to Boulder.

Taylor Upshaw didn’t rise to the level of his predecessors after a few years as a starter at defense end. David Ojabo took Taylor Upshaw’s position in 2021. Although Upshaw had a slow start to the season, he was able to make a big impact in the 2022 year. He still chose to go through the NCAA transfer portal in search of a new start.

And on Saturday night, Upshaw made the late announcement that he’s joining the new-look Colorado Buffaloes.

Regan Upshaw was the father of Upshaw. He flipped from Florida The 2018 recruiting cycle was in its final stages. Bradenton (Fla. Braden River), he had 11 tackles in 2022 and 1.5 sacks.

He has one more year of eligibility.
