Minn. Police Dog Dies After a Devastating Fire at Partner’s House

K9 Deputy Nate Fisher, his family and friends were away when the fire broke out and are now safe.
According to police statements, emergency responders responded to a rural Nessel Township house fire Monday afternoon and found the dwelling in flames.

K9 Kyro was taken by police to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, where he was “prepared for a proper farewell.”
“We are forever grateful to K9 Deputy Kyro’s assistance,” Chisago County Sheriff’s Office stated.
A GoFundMe A memorial fund was set up in memory of the Fisher family that lost everything in the fire.
“Thanks to everyone for your overwhelming support!” In a Facebook comment, the Sheriff’s office stated that they were grateful for the support. “The Fisher family deeply appreciates the incredible community we live within.”
