Virginia high schools are being investigated for delaying notification of national merit recognition to students. This includes in time for college scholarships and admissions deadlines.

According to the Associated Press, the number of high schools being investigated in northern Virginia has risen from 13 to 16 on Monday to 16, one in Loudoun County, and two in Prince William County. 7News.
