No. 3 LSU defeats Woman Vols, 76-68

Tennessee (16-8, 8-1 SEC) suffered its second consecutive loss at No. 3 LSU (21-0, 9-0 SEC) Monday.

LSU defeated the Woman Vols, 76-68, on the Pete Maravich Meeting Middle in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The loss was Tennessee’s first convention defeat.

Jordan Walker scored a season-high 19 factors to steer Tennessee.

Rickea Jackson recorded 17 factors, eight rebounds and 5 assists for the Woman Vols. Jordan Horston recorded 11 factors and three rebounds.

The Tigers led 50-47 after the third quarter.

Alexis Morris scored a game-high 31 factors to steer the Tigers, whereas Angel Reese recorded 18 factors and 17 rebounds.

Tennessee will host Ole Miss Thursday at Thompson-Boling Enviornment. Tipoff is slated for six:30 p.m. EST (SEC Community+).
