Notre Dame tight end announces transfer destination

The end was tight after he had to overcome injuries over his two years at Notre Dame. Cane Berrong This off-season, Berrong entered the transfer portal.  Berrong accepted offers from across the country and has now announced his decision to continue his college football career at Coastal Carolina University.

Coastal Carolina comes off a season that saw them start 9-1, but then lose three straight to end the season.  Over the past three seasons, the Chanticleers have been a combined 31-7.

Berrong was a part of three games for Notre Dame in 2021, and one in 2022. He’ll have three years of eligibility remaining as the Hartwell, Georgia native will be a bit closer to home.
