Pedestrian struck by automobile, killed in Aiken County on Saturday night

Jan. 22—A feminine pedestrian was struck by a automobile and killed Saturday night in Aiken County.

Lance Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Freeway Patrol mentioned a 2014 Toyota sedan was touring south on US Route 1 when it struck a pedestrian making an attempt to cross the highway from west to east close to Cherokee Drive in Clearwater.

The pedestrian sustained deadly accidents within the collision.

The driving force and two passengers within the 2014 Toyota sedan weren’t injured. The incident occurred round 9 p.m. and the sufferer’s identify can be launched after her household has been notified, based on a report from Darryl Ables, Aiken County’s coroner.
