Fossils blur edit

A large amount of fossils including dinosaur bones were found.

During a burglary in Derbyshire, a large number of fossils was taken.

Between 27 December and 29 December, criminals broke into Hardwick Square West in Buxton and took fossils as well as two guitars, jewellery, and power tools.

Derbyshire Police has linked the burglary to another incident that occurred in the same street on 3 and 4 January, in which a vehicle was damaged.

A bag of fossils stolen in burglary was left at a museum on the 3rd January.

According to the force, the bag was found outside Buxton Museum and Art gallery between 09:00 GMT and 10:00 GMT.

Officers want to hear from anyone with information regarding the burglary and anyone who might be able to sell any of the stolen items.
