Police suspect that Rochester Hills drivers were intentionally struck by chunks ice while driving.

Police have warned drivers about falling ice hitting their cars. Police say drivers are being targeted while they drive, and that these close calls can cost them up to $3500. Police have reported that at least five drivers were affected by ice chunks falling on their cars. Those impacted drivers are warning others not to drive in the vicinity of Tieken Road, Rochester Hills. Tala, an affected driver, stated that there was a small part of her windshield missing and she had ice and glass all around her. Tala is one among five drivers who spoke out after being suspect of someone intentionally throwing chunks at their car. The incident occurred near Silverbell Road and Kern Road. She was able to escape with only a small scratch on her forehead, but it could have been much worse.
