Pruitt’s jumper and steal help Lipscomb beat Tennessee Tech

NASHVILLE (TNN) Ahsan Asadullah scored 21 point, Will Pruitt hit a jumper to go ahead with 12.1 seconds left and Lipscomb beat Tennessee Tech 64-63 Wednesday night.

Asadullah grabbed 15 rebounds in the victory for the Bisons (7-4). Derrin boyd scored 12 points and shot 4 for 9. He was 1 for 3 at 3-point range and 3 for 3 at the free throw line. Pruitt had 10 points and shot 4 of 8, including 2 for 5, from beyond the arc.

Pruitt, who had made a mistake that gave Tennessee Tech the ball moments earlier, stole the pass and ran into lane where he hit the winning jumper.

Jaylen Sbree was the leader in scoring for the Golden Eagles (3-8), who had 25 points and eight rebounds. Jayvis Harvey scored 13 points at Tennessee Tech. Erik Oliver had seven points as well.
