Russia says ‘provocative’ drone assault on Iran may have precipitated out-of-control escalation

(Reuters) – Russia on Monday condemned Sunday’s drone strike on a navy manufacturing facility in Iran and warned in opposition to what it known as “provocative” actions that might set off an escalation in an already tense scenario.

“Such harmful actions may have unpredictable penalties for peace and stability within the Center East,” Moscow’s International Ministry mentioned.
