Sri Lanka hoping to finish debt restructuring in six months

COLOMBO (Reuters) – Sri Lanka is dedicated to assembly all its debt repayments and is hoping to finish debt restructuring negotiations within the subsequent six months, the nation’s central financial institution chief P. Nandalal Weerasinghe stated on Tuesday.

Weerasinghe stated good progress has been made in negotiations with the Paris Membership creditor nations and different collectors, and whereas talks with native banks to cut back charges are ongoing, restructuring of home debt stays an uncertainty.
