HERE WE GO

It’s State of the Union time, that day when the president delivers a speech to Congress that tries to accomplish a lot.

Biden will talk about his accomplishments and set some goals for the coming year. He’ll also be able to tick off areas that need to be fixed. Then, of course, he will describe the state and future of the union.

It can be time-consuming to do all that. Biden’s 2022 State of the Union address ran just over 62 minutes. Bill Clinton delivered the longest speech ever. He spoke for just one hour and 28 minutes in 2000. Republican George W. Bush won the award for the shortest speech, which he gave for just 47 minutes in 2002.
