Ekaterina “Katya” Trofimenko, 32, As a refugee and Ukrainian psychologist, she provides psychosocial support for the thousands of children fleeing Ukraine. She also developed and oversees Dasha’s group in the local organization Your Development Foundation. The teenagers are able to see Katya interact with them, as her own stories of war allow her to process their experiences.
