Annual Cold Nights Warm Hearts Event Hosted by Swords To Plowshares

Swords to Plowshares, the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading nonprofit veteran services agency, will spread holiday cheer to unhoused and at-risk veterans on Thursday, December 15th, 2022.

San Francisco, December 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE — Swords to Plowshares is the Bay Area’s most prominent service provider for veterans. It will host its annual holiday party for veterans in San Francisco or Oakland on December 15, 2022. For 40 years, Swords to Plowshares has provided holiday cheer to veterans who need it most during its annual Cold Nights Warm Hearts event to decrease isolation and build community among unsheltered and recently unhoused Bay Area veterans.

Veterans without shelter will receive traditional holiday meals, as well as backpacks containing essential items like socks, hygiene products, and hats. Santa Claus will visit to brighten the day and bring holiday cheer.
