Lee Je-hoon, Taxi Driver star, hints at a new project in Singapore
SINGAPORE —The Stephen Riady Auditorium at One Marina Boulevard burst with excitement and anticipation on Saturday (25 March) as the star of ‘Taxi Driver 2’, Lee Je-hoonHe was there to greet his fans in Singapore.
Lee made his grand entry, eager to entertain his followers with his charm and charisma. The crowd burst into cheers.
Lee didn’t hold back at his fan meeting. He sang a song to his fans and showed off his abs, much delight to his fans.
The real excitement was when he shared details about his next project. It is a drama on “financial crimes”, in which he will speak a lot English.
“So, lately, my drama was mainly about action. Next, we will focus on financial crime. So I’ll be wearing extraordinary suits and I’ll be speaking a lot in English. Lee explained that this is why he has been studying English.
Lee’s “healing” journey through Asia
Lee, who is the heartthrob of so many, has been on an emotional rollercoaster. A trip across Asia is a better way for Lee to heal.
He has made stops in Singapore, Manila and other cities to enjoy some of the best food and meet the most incredible people.
Lee smiled and said, “Since Taxi Driver 2 was finished, I’ve been travelling around Asia for fan meetings and eating delicious food and meeting good people. It’s been a healing trip.”
He has been very busy. Lee is very aware of the importance of his fan meetings, which he held in Singapore on Saturday.
“Everything I do is because my fans. He explained that he wanted to show his appreciation by meeting people face-to-face and making eye contact with everyone.
But amid all the hustle and bustle, Lee still finds time to indulge in his favourite dish – chicken rice! It’s his first meal when he arrives in Singapore.
The 38-year old shared the following: “Two Days ago, when I arrived late in Singapore. I was not allowed to, as I had an earlier schedule for the next day. However, I ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice and enjoyed it.
Lee isn’t averse to indulgent foods, but he doesn’t let that stop him from working out. He adheres to a strict routine that includes push-ups, pull ups, and sit-ups. He ensures that he eats plenty of beef and chicken to keep his body nourished.
“What you saw in Taxi Driver episode 1 is how I train for my fitness. Sit up, pull up, and push up. Those are my habits. Meats that I eat include chicken and beef. He said that all the protein is necessary to build a healthy body.”
An unending romance with the Lion City
Lee said that he also loves Singapore and has a long list of places he would like to take his friends, including Sentosa to Universal Studios and the incredible malls.
“The malls [along Orchard Road] They are simply amazing. “So at night, one mall’s exterior glows with the light show. We will therefore walk around and enjoy it,” he explained.
Lee’s fans can’t get enough of him! After the fan meeting, they were treated to a group photo and a goodbye session. Some lucky fans even had the opportunity to meet Lee in person.
Saras Asokan, 22, couldn’t contain her excitement when Lee was revealed to her.
“I had two to check if it was really him!” She said, “He seemed very sincere when he said goodbye each of us.”
Lee was very attracted to Nur Athirah during the fan meeting. He was glowing and looks even more beautiful in real life. The 23-year-old said that he was kind to everyone and was sweet.
Afi, 23 years old, is a huge Lee Je-hoon lover. She even managed to get tickets for both his shows! While her love for the star started with “Move to Heaven”, she was hooked by his riveting “Taxi Driver”. She confessed that she was just in love with him.
Noah was touched and moved by Lee’s sincerity toward everyone at the fan meeting.
“I was extremely excited and nervous. “I told him that he was handsome, and his response made me feel like I’m supporting the right people.” shared the 17-year old.
As Lee’s Asia trip draws to a close it is clear that he left an indelible impression on all those he met.
His adventures have been filled with wonder, excitement and delight.
