Teen Mom Star Leah Messer in a ‘Healing process’ after ‘Difficult Jaylan Mobley Split
Leah Messer is opening up about her breakup with ex-fiancé Jaylan Mobley For the first time.
She continues to work on the split. Teen Mom PEOPLE exclusively hears from star that she is “doing great.”
It was difficult at the beginning of my split. The reality star, who is 30, said that there’s a healing process and that there’s a grieving period after any breakup. “You create an attachment and a connection with someone, and you can grieve that if the relationship does not work out.”
Messer says, “But I’m thrilled to spend the holidays together with my daughters and continue what we do as families.”

Mobley was the MTV Star who made her relationship public. Instagram-official In September 2021. PEOPLE broke the news of their engagement In August. Two months later, they split.
In a joint statement Messer and Mobley addressed the split by saying they wanted to “move on as friends”. They also stated that they’d always have love and respect for one another.
Messer has found that self-care is a valuable thing after the split.
She explains that self-care for each person is unique. So whether it’s a spa or meditating, or hiking, the only way I find my grounding is through Earth. Spa days are something I love, whether it’s hiking or walking. And music — music feeds my soul. It does.

Messer is a mother to three children, so it’s even more important to keep her priorities high.
“It’s important to take time for ourselves and have support systems and friends,” she said. It’s important.
