Texas F Dylan Disu a game-time decision against Miami

Dylan Disu, Texas’ senior forward, left the Sweet 16 Longhorns Sweet 16 match early due to an apparent foot injury. Rodney Terry said postgame, that Texas did not expect to be without its starting big-man going into the game.

The Longhorns put together an inspired performance despite Disu’s absence vs. Xavier. Texas swept past the Musketeers, 83 to71, behind 19 points from Tyrese Hunt and 18 from Christian Bishop.

No. 2 Texas is up against No. 5 Miami has a chance to make it to the Final Four.

Disu’s status for the Elite Eight is in question. Disu is, according to reports, a game-time winner. according to Jon Rothstein.

The Longhorns would benefit tremendously if Disu could get back on the court. He has been the best player for the team during the last stretch of the season. Disu was awarded MVP of Big 12 Tournament. He also played a 28-point match against Penn State in Round 32.
