Texas taqueria customer shoots masked robber, and then returns the money to patrons. Police say

A Texas armed robber walked into a Texas taqueria and demanded money. A patron stopped him, brandished his own gun, shot the suspect and gave the cash back.

Officials in Texas announced Monday that the case will be considered by a grand jury.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday when a man in a mask with what appeared to be a pistol was holding up customers, Houston police said.

According to police, witnesses said that a 46-year-old patron pulled out his gun and shot the robber several times.

Police Monday said that investigators are looking for anyone who was present at the restaurant during the shooting.
