After a four year hiatus, thousands rejoiced the return of Hong Kong Cyclothon

It was attended by thousands of cyclists who took part in the cycling extravaganza that ended on the 18th December. It is back as the largest outdoor sporting event in Hong Kong. Participants in the 50km and 30-km thrilling rides had the privilege of riding on major traffic routes through Hong Kong’s iconic landmarks and infrastructures. The gentle dawn light welcomed the peloton as they sped along Stonecutters Bridge and tunnels. It is an amazing experience to be able to view Hong Kong’s magnificent beauty from a new perspective, with the company of happy riders who mastered the turns and slopes together.

The amateur cyclists raced past Tsim Sha Tsui’s finish line. Professional cyclists fought for victory on the other side. As the spectators tried to capture the bikes racing at high speeds in front of the magnificent Victoria Harbour skyline, the heated competition between the riders heated the winter air.
