Titans interview Bears’ Cunningham and Cards’ Harris for GM jobs

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans For their interview, they interviewed Ian Cunningham (Chicago assistant general manager) and Quentin Harris (Arizona vice president of player personnel), Saturday general manager job.

Cunningham joined Bears in 2018 after five seasons as director of college Scouting in Philadelphia. He was then promoted to assistant director of player staff in 2019, and director of player personnel by 2021.

He began his NFL career in 2008 with the Baltimore Ravens, as a player assistant. In 2013, he was promoted to area scout. He was an offensive lineman at Virginia and won the Super Bowl in 2012 with Baltimore Ravens. In 2017, he was with Philadelphia. He played 31 games at Virginia as an offensive lineman and was an undrafted agent in Kansas City in 2008.

Arizona sent Harris last spring to Atlanta to be the NFL’s initial coach and front-office accelerator program. This was to assist minority team owners.

Harris began his NFL career in Arizona, where he was a safety for Arizona over four seasons. He was an undrafted rookie from Syracuse in 2002. Harris played 54 games at Arizona’s safety position. He was also a Giants player and participated in six games with Denver in 2006. In 2007, he became an NFL Scout.

In 2008, he was promoted to assistant pro personnel director. He then worked as a pro-scout for the Cardinals. Harris was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in 2010, before he served as director for pro scouting from 2013-2018. He was promoted from assistant pro personnel director to Harris in 2010 and then worked as director for pro scouting until 2018.

He was responsible for evaluating top college prospects and overseeing the Cardinals’ draft process. Harris is also responsible for Arizona’s personnel department.

The Titans interviewed San Francisco director of player personnel Ran Carthon and Glenn Cook, Cleveland’s assistant general manager and vice president of player personnel, on Friday.

They began their formal interviews Thursday Talking to two in-house candidates Monti Ossenfort, director of player personnel, and Ryan Cowden, vice president of player personnel were interviewed last year for general manager positions.
