USC hosts coveted, high-value Western Michigan transfer Braden Fiske

The transfer portal season has begun to heat up and the USC Trojans are expected to be a hot commodity again.

Lincoln Riley arrived last year and landed many high-profile names including Caleb Williams (Heisman Trophy winner) and Travis Dye (Oregon star), as well Jordan Addison.

Before we continue with this story, let’s make one point clear: Pursuing a Mid-American Conference transfer might not seem like that big a deal. The MAC doesn’t have a lot high-end talent. You might recall that Eric Fisher, a Central Michigan offensive lineman, was the No. He was the No. 1 pick in 2013 NFL Draft and is still with the league a decade later. He has had a very good career, and he’s a MAC product.

A conference doesn’t have to be 10 or 20 deep in talent. One key prospect can make all the difference in a conference.

Now let’s continue with our story:

USC’s raid on the transfer portal should continue this year. The Trojans have no problem adding talent to their roster. The Trojans will continue to strengthen the defensive side of their team with Braden Fiske from Western Michigan.h/t TrojanSeij).

The Trojans have been in the top 3 for a while. Coastal Carolina transfer LB Josaiah StewartThey got great news! Shane Lee announced he would return to L.A. For his last year of college football.

Alex Grinch, Lincoln Riley, and others need to prioritize defense after the brutal season.

Fiske is well-known in the portal. He is currently visiting Florida State. He finished 2022 with 57 tackles and 10.5 tackles loss. Also, he had 4.5 sacks. His presence in L.A. would make a huge difference.
