Valkyries swamp Loyola, 68-33

Jan. 29—BIGFORK — Paeten Gunlock hit 4 3-pointers and scored 20 factors, and the Bigfork Valkyries blew open the sport after halftime for a 68-33 women basketball win Saturday.

Scout Nadeau added 15 factors and Braeden Gunlock chipped in 13 for the District 7-B Vals, who’re 14-0. Nadeau scored 9 factors within the second half, when Bigfork (14-0) outscored the Breakers 40-16.

Addie Nault hit 4 3-pointers and scored 12 factors for District 6-B Loyola (9-5).

RONAN — Kalcie Connelly scored 20 factors, together with 10 in time beyond regulation, and Browning held off Northwest A foe Ronan to remain unbeaten Saturday.

Amari Calf Gown scored eight of her 15 factors within the further interval as nicely — whereas the Woman Indians and host Maidens mixed for 34 factors in 4 minutes. Connelly was 8 for 12 from the ground for Browning (14-0 total, 8 — 0 within the Northwest A).

POLSON — Mila Hawk scored 17 factors to guide 4 Polson gamers in double figures, and the Pirates pushed previous Columbia Falls in time beyond regulation.

Samantha Rensvold contributed 10 off the bench for Polson (9-5 total, 5-2 in Northwest A video games), together with a 3-pointer and two free throws in OT.

Rensvold, Hawk and Nikki Kendall (11 factors) all hit two 3-pointers. Grace Simonich added 12 factors, and the Pirates transformed 17 of 25 free throws.

Lexi Oberholtzer hit 4 3-pointers and scored a game-high 19 for the Wildkats (9-5, 4-3 league). Hope McAtee added 16 factors, 14 of them coming after halftime. The Kats went 16 of 23 on the line.

RONAN — Olivia Heiner hit two early 3-pointers and completed with 13 factors, and Ronan’s balanced offense put away Libby Friday.

Lauryn Buhr added eight factors for the Maidens, and Ally Luedtke chipped in seven off the bench. Madison Vincent led the Loggers with seven factors.
