Von Miller backs Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson to rebound in 2023

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos’ quarterback, had the worst year of his career in 2022. but he showed signs of promise in the team’s final two games of the season after former coach Nathaniel Hackett was fired.

Now follow the arrival of new coach Sean Payton, there’s more optimism in Broncos Country that Wilson could get back on track in 2023.

Von Miller, a former Broncos pass rusher, stated that he believes Wilson will rebound this fall.

“I’ll always be a Denver Broncos fan,” Miller told KOA Radio’s Brandon Krisztal. “I’ll always be a Denver Broncos fan, it’s in my blood. Russell Wilson seems to be the right direction. [for the team]. It was a perfect trade for Russell Wilson, I believe.

“Russell Wilson, he struggled this year, and I’m sure he’d say the same thing. But for me, and what I know about Russell Wilson, that’s an anomaly — it’ll never happen again. … I just firmly believe in Russ and the type of person that he is that he’ll be able to bounce back and have a successful rest of his career.”

Miller plays now for the Buffalo Bills. who are among Denver’s 2023 opponents. Miller repeatedly stated that despite being two teams away from the Broncos Miller believes they are still in the same boat. he still has love for Denver, and if they don’t win next Super Bowl, Miller hopes the Broncos will.
