The Philadelphia Eagles are amid their 53-man roster cutdown, and one veteran cornerback is saying goodbye to the city.

The news hasn’t been revealed, but Zech McPhearson may have let the cat out of the bag when he posted a goodbye note to Philadelphia on his social media pages.

McPhearson missed the 2023 season after suffering an Achilles injury in a preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns. McPhearson had been taking snaps as a slot cornerback when he was injured.

With Philadelphia overhauling the cornerback position in 2024, McPhearson appears to be the odd man out, but he could catch on elsewhere or potentially return to the practice squad.
