2024 SG Elijah Moore places Alabama in the top 5

Alabama extended an offer Tuesday to Elijah Moore, the 2024 shooting guard. Later, he would list the Tide in his recruiting on Tuesday evening.

Moore is originally from Bronx, New York. It is noteworthy because Alabama assistant coaching coach Brian Hodgson has been particularly successful in recruiting in that region. He worked under Nate Oats at Buffalo as a coach and has been able to continue to recruit the state at a high standard.

When asked why Alabama was included as a finalist, here is what Moore told On3’s, Joe Tipton:

They just want to win, and send their children to the pros. I want the opportunity to play pro. They speak to me about their faith in me and my potential. I really love the school’s environment and can’t wait to get out there to see what’s up. Bryan Hodgson, Coach Bryan, is an awesome guy that gives me a lot of energy.

Tipton noted that Moore is expected to visit Alabama on January 24, according to Tipton. Moore has not yet confirmed this.
