All Home Care Matters Announces New Show ‘The Caregiver’s Journal’

The show – co-hosted by Lance A. Slatton and Denise M. Brown – will help other caregivers “feel less alone in what they experience and feel”

Livonia, Michigan–(Newsfile Corp. – December 11, 2023) – Enriched Life Home Care Services (ELHCS), producers of the popular and critically-acclaimed All Home Care Matters YouTube show and podcast, is launching a new YouTube show and podcast, “The Caregiver’s Journal,” that will feature positive, inspiring and uplifting stories from family caregivers all over the world.

“The Caregiver’s Journal” will launch in January 2024 and can be seen on, YouTube and on most streaming platforms.

The show will be co-hosted by Lance A. Slatton, a case manager of Enriched Life Home Care Services based in Livonia, MI, and host of the award-winning All Home Care Matters YouTube show and podcast, and Denise M. Brown, a critically acclaimed author, influencer and speaker who created one of the first online caregiving communities in 1996 and now develops and delivers training programs for family caregivers.

“The Caregiver’s Journal” will be produced, directed and written by All Home Care Matters Media. Each episode will feature interviews with family caregivers – adding a chapter to The Caregiver’s Journal – and allow family caregivers the opportunity to share their stories relating to a specific day, experience or situation.

“We hope that the stories shared in each episode reflect what family caregivers write in their own journals, and when family caregivers hear another share a similar situation, we hope our viewers and listeners will feel less alone in what they experience and feel,” said Slatton.

The first episode will feature family caregivers recalling their experiences on Diagnosis Day – the day their family member received a diagnosis. Future episodes will include stories from family caregivers about their paths to a family member’s diagnosis, about the day they realized they needed help to care for a family member, and about the first day of receiving from other family members or community organizations.

“I first began listening to family caregivers in 1990 and am drawn to learning about the human-ness of their experience – how a particular day feels, what challenges them most during a certain situation and how their relationships with their carees and other family members evolve and change,” said Brown, who also founded and operates, an online community of caregiving support. “I’m honored to be working with Lance to share these powerful stories.”

Brown develops and delivers training programs for the workplace, for community-based organizations and for individuals who want to serve family caregivers. More than 400 individuals from eight different countries have enrolled in her training programs offered through her company, The Caregiving Years Training Academy. Her training programs have been approved to provide Continuing Education Units to health care professionals, including nurses, and human resource professionals.

“When you learn about Denise and her unwavering commitment to families, family caregivers, and senior care you immediately realize that she is an incredible force and advocate that has a tremendous wealth of resources, experiences, and insights that have helped countless people, and we wanted to help further amplify her advocacy,” said Slatton, whose own show “All Home Care Matters,” has more than 120,000 YouTube subscribers with more than 20 million views. “When you take a step back and take inventory of the tremendous work that is being done in the senior care and caregiving space there are few if any names or individuals that have had such a lasting and profound impact on senior care and caregiving as Denise has had. When the idea of collaborating and working together came about there was no doubt that a collaboration would bring a tremendously positive impact for caregivers and the senior care industry.”

It’s been a busy year for All Home Care Matters, which launched another new show in 2023, “Conscious Caregiving with L & L,” produced and presented by All Home Care Matters and Alzheimer’s Speaks.
